 La Chateaux A Villa is situated some 12km south of Jomtien and 18km south of the hedonistic nightlife of Pattaya, yet only 200 meters to a quiet beach with guaranteed warmth and safe bathing all year round. With few other properties in the area, and little in the way of traffic, this is the ideal getaway for those large families or groups seeking a private yet centrally located holiday.

Location
Halfway down a peaceful lane to the beach (just 200 meters), this villa is located in a quiet neighbourhood within easy reach of the seaside. Only residents of the grand villas in the lane can use this beach, which remains very quiet even in high season.

If you prefer a busier beach then you can head off to Jomtien Beach with its myriad of water sports and tasteful entertainment just over 11km away. Even closer are the delights of Ambassador City, which is a complete entertainment destination, or you may wish to head over to the many ‘Pattaya’ attractions such as the Floating Market and the Fishing Village. These venues have moved away from the city and are within easy reach of your villa in a 10-minute drive.

Accomodation

Bedrooms

There are four large double bedrooms leading off a minstrel-gallery style landing upstairs… perfect for those holiday soirées. The master bedroom has a floor-to-ceiling glazed bay window to the front, leading onto a private balcony with a panoramic view of the garden, the lane and mature trees beyond. Another set of patio doors lead onto a second balcony overlooking the pool and Jacuzzi. Walking through the dressing room area with ample built-in wardrobe space takes you into a large ensuite bathroom with bath and separate shower area. The second double bedroom is off the landing with large sliding glazed doors, and features a desk and chair making it suitable as a study as well. The third and fourth bedrooms, both doubles with good views, are connected by a large communal shower room, which will cater for the largest of families.

Bathrooms

All bathrooms have showers and WCs, and for extra relaxation, there is a bath in the master ensuite. The grandly proportioned shower room between bedrooms 3 and 4 has double basins. There are further guest’s WCs downstairs and in the poolside sala. Also downstairs there is a house cleaner’s room with its own shower room, and living quarters. Sorn, the housekeeper, tends to everything daily for those on a weekly stay, or twice a week for those staying monthly.

Dining Room

The next area to the left off the main open-plan downstairs is the dining room area where you can enjoy sumptuous meals in total comfort, with bench seating for 6 and two separate chairs - a simple effective design for indoor dining. There is of course always the option of taking meals outside in the many suitable garden areas, not least under the sala, which also has a table and chairs for feasts outdoors.

Kitchen

Although the ground floor is all open-plan, the main indoor kitchen is entered through the bar area with its own sink and worktops. Further into the main European-style kitchen there is a double drainer sink and a three-burner gas hob. There is a microwave, and an American style fridge with double doors… one-third freezer/ two-thirds fridge. Outside there is a Thai style kitchen with a wok-burner, which is ideal for the extra-spicy and aromatic cooking.

Living Rooms

On entering the villa, the feeling of space is immediately apparent with a modern open-plan design. To the left is the living area with a flat screen satellite TV with DVD and speakers, comfortable seating with views of the planting in the garden and a cosy patio area. There is a feeling of intimacy in this area, despite being set in a large open-plan ground floor area.
